| Burmese Colonial Teak and Rattan Verandah Chair |
|
Product Information:Made in Burma sometime during the early part of the 20th Century, this chair has been carefully restored and refinished and would be a highlight in a conservatory, hallway, study or anywhere needing an occasional chair. The simple and elegant design is the result of the Art Deco influence on furniture making which peaked during the 1920's. Rangoon was a centre for the production of this kind of furniture because of the availability of teak and other desirable woods. This clubhouse verandah style armchair is made from solid teak with rattan seat and back. |
